We are all about healthy living and organic products here at Our Green House, so it should come as no surprise that we love the idea of having chickens in the back yard! Having chickens and being able to get fresh eggs daily is such a wonderful way to ensure your family is eating organic products. Plus we think that fresh eggs taste way better than anything you can get in the supermarket :) Chickens are also great at eating insects and ticks (which can be a problem in the northeast) which is great if you like spending lots of time in your yard.
